About

“Painting is from this day dead!” French painter, Paul Delarouche was shocked by what he saw in 1839. Delarouche was among the first to view Louis Daguerre’s new invention, the daguerreotype, the first attempt to capture and preserve a photographic image. Though the demise of painting was an overreaction on Delarouche’s part, the daguerreotype did have a dramatic impact on the future of recording images.

Fast forward to the 21st century. Photographs are everywhere…on the internet, along our highways, in publications and all over social media. We live in a visual world and it is compelling photographs that move our emotions and enable us to remember, experience and understand the environments we inhabit.

Light and composition are necessary to create stunning and inspirational photographs. But human connection is the key to creating images that reach inside and touch our hearts. Throughout his career, Jerry Millevoi has been a compelling storyteller for a diverse client base from higher education to lifestyle to sports.  He thrives while working in challenging environments. A skilled photographer, yes…he is also a problem solver.

Jerry has also been an educator of community college and university students since 2008. He received an M.A. from West Chester University and a B.A. from The College of New Jersey.
